Artwork Guidelines for Custom Printed Bags

Finished artwork on custom printed bags will only be as good as the artwork supplied, as with any translation and recreation process. Please submit artwork as vector files with spot color information for solid color art, or as high-resolution raster files for full-color photographic art. However, if these formats are not available or if you are uncertain, please send us what you have and we will help you get your artwork into the correct format.

Acceptable Vector Artwork Files

  • AI, EPS, or PDF Format
  • All Text Converted to Outlines
  • CMYK Color Mode
  • Black Inks Set to K:100 (No Rich Black)
  • Spot Colors Use PMS Values

Acceptable Raster Artwork Files

  • Flattened TIF Format (No Layers)
  • CMYK Color Mode
  • 300 DPI at Full Size
  • LZW Compression for Large Files

Acceptable Program Files

  • Adobe Illustrator: All text converted to outlines. Be prepared to supply any font files in PC format if editing is required.
  • CorelDraw: All text converted to outlines. Be prepared to supply any font files in PC format if editing is required.
  • Adobe Photoshop: All text rendered. Be prepared to supply any font files in PC format if editing is required.

The following files are generally NOT acceptable as printable artwork and may need to be converted into finished art.

  • Scans
  • Bitmaps
  • JPGS
  • Web Images
  • Any of the Above Embedded into a PDF Document

We will contact you upon receipt of original art should additional work be required in order to complete your custom printed bags.
